Instant estimate

See the price range before you commit.

Enter pickup and dropoff ZIP codes for an instant delivery estimate along the I-95 corridor. Final quote confirmed by dispatch before pickup.

Same-day when the lane allows it

Cutoff depends on pickup ZIP, traffic, and what else is on the van that afternoon. We confirm before we commit.

Paper trail on every handoff

Chain-of-custody notes, recipient name, and time stamp go on the job record. Ask for photo proof on delivery if you need it.

Built for repeat accounts

Law offices, medical practices, clinics, retailers, and municipal vendors run standing routes with us once the first job goes clean.

What we actually carry

Four kinds of work we take every week.

Same-day parcel

Boxes, parts, samples, and last-minute inventory between offices and warehouses on the corridor. Van-sized loads only, not LTL freight.

Most common request.

Documents & filings

Envelopes, binders, and sealed packets for courts, title companies, and agencies that cannot email the original.

Standing routes

Fixed pickup windows for clinics, print shops, and stores that need a driver on the same days each week.

Medical & lab

Specimens and supplies with temperature and timing requirements. Tell us the protocol on the ticket. We follow your instructions, not a generic checklist.

How we run routes

No mystery status updates.

You should know who has the package, when it left, and when it landed. If something slips because of weather, an access issue, or a bad address, you hear from us, not a silent tracking page.

  4. 4

Business & government accounts

One-off jobs are fine. Recurring work is where we earn trust.

Municipal vendors, law firms, medical practices, and healthcare offices usually start with a single urgent run. If the handoff is clean, we set up a standing route and a direct line to dispatch.

Other metros

We run the DC and Richmond metros. Need another metro? Ask.

Our own drivers cover the DC metro, Northern Virginia, Fredericksburg, and the Richmond metro. For a run in another metro — Baltimore, Philadelphia, Charlotte, Atlanta, wherever your office sits — we source and place it with a vetted partner carrier on request and stay your single point of contact: one ticket, one dispatcher, one invoice.

Quoted metro by metro on request, not standing nationwide coverage. Send the pickup city, dropoff city, and deadline — we will tell you what we can place and what it costs, or tell you straight that we cannot.

Questions

What people ask before the first pickup.

Do you guarantee same-day?

We guarantee an honest answer. Same-day works when pickup is early enough and the dropoff sits on the corridor. We will not take a job we cannot make.

Can you handle recurring government or clinic routes?

Yes. Bring your schedule and security requirements on the first ticket. We document the route and assign a consistent driver when possible.

What will you not carry?

Hazmat, firearms, and uninsured high-value freight without prior written approval. Ask if you are unsure. We would rather decline than mishandle.

Is your driver credentialed for secure sites?

We hold a TWIC — Transportation Worker Identification Credential — so a TSA security threat assessment is on file. That covers unescorted gate access at maritime port terminals and other MTSA-regulated facilities. It is not an airport SIDA badge, so we do not access airport sterile or air-operations areas. Send any site-specific badging or escort requirements on the first ticket.

Can you deliver outside the DC and Richmond metros?

Our own drivers run the DC and Richmond metros. For another metro we will source and place the run with a vetted partner carrier on request and stay your single point of contact. It is quoted metro by metro, not standing nationwide coverage.

How do I get a rate?

Submit the dispatch ticket with cities, ready time, and package size. We reply from hello@parcelreadyexpress.com with a firm quote before pickup.

Job information

How we handle job information.

We use pickup details to quote the lane, route the driver, contact pickup and dropoff parties, and document delivery. Keep access codes and recipient details limited to what the run needs.

Intake

Paperform is the job record.

The pickup request gives dispatch one place for addresses, timing, package notes, and proof-of-delivery instructions.

Confirmation

Acceptance comes from dispatch.

A ticket is reviewed before a driver is assigned. Dispatch confirms the quote, timing, and whether the lane works that day.

Follow-up

Email carries the job trail.

We use email for quotes, updates, questions, delivery notes, and any follow-up tied to the PRE reference.

Put the details on a ticket. We will tell you if we can make the run.
